Has anyone seen a glossy screen MBP?

    I think you probably just need to see it for yourself and decide since we all have our preferences. I see the benefits of both but my eyes and mind wigged out when I played with the glossy screen - changing focus rapidly on the task at hand (word processing) and the glare of the screen. I loved the enhanced color of the glossy but the matte was more comfy. Again, you need to try it yourself and make that decision.

    I'm a pro user high end graphicker too and I think the matte screen is superb. And I am going to the beach with mine.

    Graphics professionals should never use glossy screens. It is my experience that they are impossible to correctly color calibrate.

    yes definitely.

    i work in advertising in a studio, retouching/graphic design.

    glossy screen? pah!
