Q: My iCloud ID and my apple ID are different. I don't know the password for icloud and dont use the email of it. I cant delete icloud without the password

My iCloud email address and my apple ID are different. I would like to change my iCloud to be the same as my apple ID. However I don't know my iCloud password and don't use the email address it belongs to. When I try to change the password, apple brings me to a page to reset my apple ID password (which I know and don't want to change). I have even tried to delete my iCloud account completely to start again but am not allowed without the iCloud password (which I don't have) there doesn't seem to be a place to change the email address of iCloud. What can I do?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

OMG, as Gomer Pyle would say "thank you, thank you, thank you!"  This worked perfectly.  I had to re-do it a couple of times, signing in one way, verifying and signing in with the other email etc., but it worked great.  I had to restore to get ready to sell, since I purchased a new iPad air, thanks for the help, worked great!!

You're welcome.  You might also want to read this if you're selling it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5661.

You can try resetting your iCloud ID password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617.  If you need assistance from Apple, go to https://expresslane.apple.com; click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'.  In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.

But, I cannot use the way shown to reset the iCloud ID and password because my iPhone is de activated! The problem is that I cannot activate it unless I enter the iCloud ID and Password.. Son is there any way of reseting the iCloud password from the PC?

Please keep in mind that I tried resetting the Apple Password .. But that didn't help in reseting the iCloud's password! Seems like the Apple ID and it password is not the same as the iCloud ID and its password! That's the issue ..! Please help me with that!

& I tried to use the way of talking to the Apple Support, But again it says that am entering an invalid number.. I live in the Sultanate of Oman & I put the number with its international code which is (00 968 ) ..!

Try to reset your iCoud ID password by going to https://iforgot.apple.com/, enter your iCloud ID and follow the prompts.

Randers4, that didn't work for me.  My password that works with itunes/apple id did not work for removing icloud.  did you omit a step?

Well, I did that step, but it doesn't really help.. It only resets the Apple ID password. Is there any other way in which we use the icloud itself not the Apple ID? I have been searching for solutions and till now I couldn't find any :/

An iCloud ID is an Apple ID, and you reset the password the same way.

If the iCloud ID shown does not belong to you, you will have to locate the person it belongs to (normally the previous owner of the phone) and have them erase it and remove it from their account as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515.

If the iCloud ID show does belong to you but you are unable to reset the password, you will have to contact Apple for assistance and the appropriate number here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699.
