Facetime Camera stopped working on MBPr late 2013

While trying to get video to work with the latest lync client I followed some advise on the Skype forums to replace AppleCamera.plugin located in /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/ turned out that the files I downloaded and replaced were ment to be used only with the MBA 2013.

As I haven't created a backup I seem to be stuck now as the camera stopped working within all apps. I've restarted and fixed the permissions but that didn't help either. Anyone kind enought the share the MBPr 2013 version with me or to point me towards to right direction to fix this? Thanks a lot

You are a star JohnMaguire2013! Thanks for saving me by helping me out with this one 🙂

After I've downloaded the file, replaced the existing one, restarted the MBPr and fixed the permissions on the replaced files everything went back to normal

I've learned my lesson and will remember to always back-up files before replacing them. Time for a backup now 😉

Thanks once again, this was highly appreciated!
