Sep 11, 2013 8:32 AM in response to Sophiaj1by Sezdean,Hey everyone - the issue may be that you're typing in the "Subject" field - not in the "Message" field. If you have "Show Subject Field" turned on in your Settings - a split box opens when you are responding to or composing a message. If you only type in the "Subject" field you will not be able to Send as you have not created a message (only a subject). You must type in the lower half of the split box to create the send enabled message. Would advise turning off the "Show Subject Field" to make things easier/simpler.

Sep 14, 2013 11:30 AM in response to Sophiaj1by Seawitch_SC,Is is possible that a person is blocking my iMessage? I can send to other people and they can iMessage this person. As soon as I send I get the failure message. I had been able to message them in the pas. I unused both cellular and wifi.

Sep 14, 2013 3:13 PM in response to Seawitch_SCby WDYLAN,If that person is using ios7 beta, yes. Ios7 has a new block feature that will block phone calls and text messages. Not sure if it blocks emails, but maybe because it generally blocks the contact. Also not sure if it blocks an entire contact cars or just specific entries, but I think the entire card.

Sep 30, 2013 12:11 AM in response to Sophiaj1by Freakstirer,I have just had the same issue which led me hear.
I have iOS7 on an iPhone 4S.
In Settings / Messages / Send & Receive you can check your Apple ID. Mine wasn't displaying properly as I've recently changed it. I signed out, then signed back in using the correct Apple ID and password and my iMessage sent immediately.
Bingo.
Hope this helps someone, anyone........

Oct 13, 2013 6:16 AM in response to Sophiaj1by deterdetdetdeter,I have iOS7 and my messages don't alert me. So strange...i have to actually go into the program to see if I have received any.
I don't seem to have any issues sending them or them being received on the other end.
Yes, I am sure that I have the banner/alrert function activated.
Any suggestions? I use this phone for work so it's actually important that I'm able to see if a client texts me throughout the day.
