I used my iPad 3....  I made the mistake to "upgrade" to iOS 7.0.4 less then a week ago and I have a tablet no different as user interface feedback then a cheap no brand eBay tablet.

Sluggish GUI, random delays in browser...

iOS 7.0.4 on my iPad 2, and my wife's iPad 3 run as fast or faster than iOS 6.x. Not remotely sluggish .If your's doesn't run well,  you really need to do some basic troubleshooting such as restarting, resetting, restoring.

The irony is no answer was given. Initial question was "how to...?" not "Is it possible to....?"

    Thank you

What part of "you can't" is not the answer to "how to"?

Sorry, what have I done wrong? Top of the page on my browser says discussions.apple.com not support.apple.com

And are 149 pages of hundreds of posts (a exception of a hand full) which I will classify as discussions about a subject with "not allowed" answer

I already used the link you so helpfully provided

This was a mere feedback to a level 6 user statement (not question or answer) as are no more then 100 Apple customers complaining. If anybody is counting, with me are 101.

If not allowed discussions in a discussions forum please free to delete any discussion. Or even simpler, close the thread once a solution is given.

    3. ..........Constructive feedback about product features is welcome as well............

Sorry, English is a second language for me. I probably misunderstood what I originally posted as constructive feedback. Maybe I got carried away but for some time I was an extremely pleased Apple customer. I am still an Apple customer. I am using my iPad to reply, not my Nexus 5 or my Lenovo w530.

I am still using my iPad for at least 80% of the tasks I could have used any of the other ones

I am working now for 10 years level 3 support in a electrical test equipment manufacturer and I deal daily with support inquiries and technologies from the most simple ones to computer controlled instruments. I am far from an Apple guru but I have a very good understanding of technology and I can evaluate different GUI performance.

I (think I) do understand why iPad2 GUI "moves" better then the iPad 3 one . It has to do with the number of pixels the graphic  interface has to handle. 4 times less  on the old one and somehow the extra processing power in iPad 3 combined with extra graphical functions in the new iOS can not keep it at the same level (for the moment, I hope)

And I tried all recommended reset, graphical functions disable etc. recommended multiple times on this discussions forum (so I am not alone in observing a downgrade in GUI performance)

My device works better then a lot of tablets made by powerful competitors.

Works well enough to use it, as stated above, but not as good as before the upgrade.

As I suggested before, if discussion goes out of the original thread and does not comply with community etiquette I will see logical for the thread to be closed and/or the ones infringing the rules to have the comments removed

Yet, as I already stated, my wife's iPad 3 has not slowed down with iOS 7.  Neither has 2 other iPad 3's I've seen.  The increased graphics processing capacity in the iPad 3 vs 2 fully compensates for the increased resolution.

If your iPad 3 (now 2 generations out of date), still works better than the competors, and you still prefer using it to your much newer Nexus and Lenovo models, what is it that compels you to complain?

The fact I can perceive a downgrade in the quality of GUI response, as I stated.

And I base that on my technical expertise, on 132000 views of this thread and the amount of results a search on internet on the subject will bring

I already regret starting to write on this forum, I realise now is not allowed to have a different opinion then the one stated unofficially by the army of minions here.

I am sure this is not the Apple policy as from what I dealt with the company until now it was not less then exquisite. I will personally report it to Apple as this thread must be closed irrespective of the truth of the statements done

So you are saying that if anyone disagrees with or refutes what you say, it should not be allowed?  Only posts that agree with you should be included?

So... you do not see the irony of your statement?

I said before, I work in product support and know if a real problem is denied it will not disappear.

The answer to close this thread on the first page was suppose to look like "apparently few customers have similar issues. Try to reset, disable...etc and way for the new firmware release. Hopefully it will solve the issues you experience for the moment"

Just making a wrong statement over and over again it will make it truth.

As a result the size of this thread.

A nonexistent problem will not generate such a huge, by any standards, debate

The topic of this thread is how to uninstall iOS 7 in iPhones, which was answered in the 3rd post on page 1. It can't be done.  No "wrong statements" about this were ever made.  If suggested alternatives to downgrading the iOS don't satisfy you, that doesn't deny anything.   The vast majority using iOS 7 prefer it.

The rest of it is 99% whining about the aesthetics and graphics of iOS 7. Virtually no discussion of iPad performance is included here.  Maybe if you actually read what's in this thread you would have a clue.

Your posts about iOS 7 causing a performance decline in the iPad 3 is not confirmed by my experience, and no repeating claims about your experience doing"level 3 support"  makes it any more valid. If you can't tolerate others not agreeing with your claims, that's entirely your problem.  Your posts also stated that your perceived impairment was too trivial to affect your use of the iPad when you had other choices.

So... you do not see the irony of your statement?

I realize that English isn't your primary language, but you should look up "irony" in an English dictionary and learm to use it correctly.  Also, to which "statement" are you referring?  I made several.

To help here is the meaning of irony

1 a : the use of words that mean the opposite of what one really intends b : an ironic expression or utterance

2 a : inconsistency between an actual and an expected result of a sequence of events b : a result marked by this inconsistency

3 : the contradiction between the situation developed in a drama and the words or actions of the characters that is understood by the audience but not by the characters themselves

    I was referring to

"Only posts that agree with you should be included"

Your experience with iPad 3 does not confirm my problem so I must accept your statement as a fact.

    I will.

I humbly regret I failed to accept your statements sooner

I wrongly presumed the (wrongly) perceived downgrade in performance could have been solved with a uninstall of the iOS 7, as the thread title stated.

I have to thank both of you for the English lesson I received today.

Please disregard all inappropriate comments and (what could be mistaken for) patronising advice of how to treat a question raised by a (not of yours, of course, but Apple) customer

    Have a happy life!

Thought I'd check in on this thread again and I see that it's still going strong   I'm pretty sure Marius last statement was meant as sarcasm, however I could be wrong. In any case I do appluad Modular747's willingness to assist w reverting to ios6 were an option available.
