When i try to power up my g4 17" power book it just beeps three times and nothing happens. The front power light is on but the screen doesn't light up

If it happens regardless of which system is used to start up the computer, remove and reinsert its RAM.
If it only happens for a specific Mac OS X version, that version is too old to boot the computer.
