Nov 19, 2013 10:42 PM in response to AlwaysBreakingby KovyR,If you purchased the music via itunes store, you can sync your music via iCloud, no need to sync.
My issue is with music on my iTunes library that I didn't buy from the iTunes store.

Nov 21, 2013 12:37 AM in response to KovyRby Thad Spreg,FWIW, I have had this same problem. It seems like it's an off and on problem, but maybe it's happening all the time and I just don't notice it somtimes. My issue is with syncing podcasts. Tonight, the solution was too simple. No matter what I did, podcasts would not sync from my iTunes to my iPhone. So I quit and relaunched iTunes and then everything synced just fine!

Thad

Nov 21, 2013 9:58 AM in response to KovyRby rsawyers,I'm having similar issues. No synch. Removed music from my iphone 5 yet it still shows about 160 songs being on the phone when I view in itunes. Problems started with music not purchased from Itunes. Had these mysterious red circles in the album song list and when I selected a song to play things just cycled through the entire album without playing anything. I had no problems until I made the upgrades and all 1800 songs I had in my library were able to be synched to my phone. I have a 32 g phone and with about 10 G free and now I cannot synch my library at all except manually because I'm being told I'm 2 g over capacity. The 10 G I had free is now showing that its being used up by "other" with no definition of what "other" is. Its really annoying. I've tried everyone's advice on this post and have had no luck. Hoping its an issue that Apple is feverishly working on.

Nov 21, 2013 6:39 PM in response to KovyRby gduch,I was having the same issue as well. Everything was syncing just fine but the music would not. I went to my music library and noticed that all of my songs were unchecked. Once I checked them, I was able to get them to my iphone 5. Just wanted to let you know that I was very frustrated as you are, hopefully this is your issue.

Nov 22, 2013 2:51 AM in response to KovyRby Vampire...,Hello problem solved!
Look, it isn't exactly with WIFI. But within the Itunes system. So:
1/Connect the Iphone with the Itunes by the USB cable,
2/Go to Summary...scroll down the third box:OPTIONS,
3/And reorganize (for eg I've put tick for Automatically sync when this Iphone is connected + Sync only synced songs + Covert higher bit rate...) it's important to NOT tick the "Sync this Iphone with WIFI" (that's basically what's crapping the thing)
4/Go to MUSIC from the upper options near the Summery one,
5/Tick or do the playlists and whetver,
6/Sync,
7/Wait (probably because you have much music or the fact that they are being converted from mp3 into AAC),
8/Check your Iphone and VOILA! XD
Seriously, I've been hating myself carying two Iphones like a CEO for the past 1.5 weeks lol
When I finally sat down to fix this, turned out it was in the settings.
So Apple still rocks =D

Nov 25, 2013 10:09 AM in response to KovyRby Vampire...,Hi, I think it's realted with the amount of music. Try few artists sync little by little.
It happened to me right after posting this, I got happy to sync all my playlist but it was too big. Anywhos, so try manually one by one.

Dec 5, 2013 4:17 PM in response to KovyRby aMAZEn,I have been struggling with this as well. Today I finally got somewhere, not sure what combination of small things I have been reading here and there, but what i did was make sure i selected only a few playlists to be copied into my iPad, I finally have two of my favorite playlists there along with my movies. This is the first time, after the itune update, that the Sync finishes without being stuck in stage 4. Next step is resyncing the rest step by step.
Good luck, hope that works for you

Dec 7, 2013 6:58 AM in response to KovyRby aMAZEn,KovyR, try emptying your device fully. then start with one playlist or one song, or one item to allow your device to fully finish its sync and not get stuck, once it does that, unplug, restart itunes, and go slowly with each playlist.
PS make sure you have the same apple ID on both devices you are trying to sync.

Dec 8, 2013 4:24 AM in response to KovyRby AndrasSzada,Hey Guys!
I had the same problem, with a new iPhone 5s and iTunes 11.1.3.8
Turning off the WiFi on the iPhone helped... it's now syncing my music.
Thanks for the suggestion!
