Q: Upgraded to Mavericks and my printer won't work
Hi,
I bought a new mac book pro (Mavericks) and suddenly my Canon Pixma iP2600 won't work. I've downloaded a driver, fixed permissions but still nothing.
Anyone got any advice.

Make sure the printer model is listed in Printer and scanner software, which is a comprehensive list of all printer models that have compatible software for OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Lion.

Try to delete the print queue under Print & Fax / Print & Scan then manually add a print queue.

If it doesn't work, reset the printing system:

then add another print queue manually.
