Same here what? This is a 2-year old thread, that would have involved an older iOS and iTunes? Is your device is showing the iTunes logo? Then the device is in Recovery Mode. See the instructions in this support document to try and recover your device. If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If you cannot restore the device, then you need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store for assistance.

Jun 17, 2016 4:40 PM in response to alexbrookhartby Dr. macOS,Hi Alex!
Hop you're doing ok
I read your post and that gave me a flashback due to I used to have an i5 that had the same symptoms after an update
I was able to sort it out by doing a few adjustments on my computer and that worked out perfectly
Read this first Get help with iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support so you can have an a idea about what's going on with the error code
I suggest you to:
1-Update your computer and restart
2-Update iTunes and restart
3-Disable your firewall or antivirus temporarily, no exceptions (don't worry this won't harm ur computer as long as you're not browsing the internet while
you restore the iPhone)
4-Don't restore from work, these networks are restricted and the ports used by 's server's cannot be reached, use a home standard network instead
5-Once you completed all the steps use the article below and then retry to restore the unit, once it's done set it up as you wish
6-If all the steps above fail to restore then you should setup a repair online here iPhone Repair - Official Apple Support and carry in the iPhone to the nearest store to have the tech take a look at it
Alex, you can follow If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support and try to restore via recovery mode aka DFU mode as well
Hope it helps Mate, post a reply if you can
