I love the merge windows feature. Is there a way to use that mode as the default? I know that over time I will simply remember to hit Cmd+T to open an additional tab within the window I'm viewing. Sometimes, however, I'm forced into a new window because I use spotlight to find a file or folder. I know I can create a keyboard shortcut to immediately merge all windows, but I would much rather have the feature be the default.

Any advice is appreciated. And so you don't have to go read my specs on my profile page:
