Oct 23, 2013 4:56 AM in response to Carolyn Samitby ImUrHaLo,I have tons of memory left over to be able to sync songs into and all my songs play normally on itunes but some of them don't get added onto my ipod. I've tried resetting my ipod but that seems to have made things worse because out of the 1000 songs i had on there before , about 300 have only been added on.

Nov 26, 2013 12:06 PM in response to ImUrHaLoby tiffschutt, try to download the free single of the week into your itunes library and then sync just that song to the device - if it works its the music in your itunes library - if that doesn't work create a new library and test - if that doesn't work restore your device because the music app is glitching more than likely.

Nov 27, 2013 1:13 PM in response to tiffschuttby ImUrHaLo,Well that's the thing though, my songs were working fine before. They played on both my itunes and ipod but now some songs have failed to sync to my ipod because itunes keeps "canceling sync".

Dec 14, 2013 3:45 PM in response to ImUrHaLoby AnnaB1,were you able to resolve this? I'm having the same issue.
-
Dec 14, 2013 4:56 PM in response to AnnaB1by ImUrHaLo,Unfortunately no. I think it has everything to do with Itunes 11.1.3 update so I'm just waiting on the next update. Must be a bug, but there hasn't been any word about it on the internet and I've been waiting since the end of October for Apple to fix this glitch in the matrix :)

Dec 17, 2013 10:02 AM in response to ImUrHaLoby AlexTB44,Not sure if you guys have this fixed yet however here's what worked for me --->
When sycning songs you will see what is syncing at the top in itunes. There will be a song that takes a little bit and then gets skipped and almost immediately after the next song starts, itunes will cancel. You must find the first song and remove it, then itunes will sync the rest. Then idk how to get the removed song on there....zerk
EX.
Roar is sycing.................................passed
Berzerk is syncing....failedRemove Roar and try again to sync
**Worked for me, hoping it works for you guys :/

Dec 22, 2013 9:18 PM in response to AlexTB44by Dougy_G,YES! YES! YES!.. This works!! It worked for me too after my computer overheated and shutdown during a sync session, I couldn't get it to finish the sync after restarting my computer. So I jumped onto the forum and gave this a go and it worked for me too :)
It must have been syncing THAT song when it shutdown and 'glitched' the sync session when I tried to resume it, so I just 'unticked' the first '2' songs..just to be sure ;) ..then hit the sync button again and away it went. No problems at all. And NO problems syncing the '2' songs again afterwards either, just re-ticked, pressed sync button and Viola! All good again :)
Thanks AlexTB44 for this one

Dec 23, 2013 6:57 PM in response to ImUrHaLoby graceyy16,I had this same problem- I have an iPhone 4 and for some reason my phone just wasn't syncing- it'd get through like 5 songs and then cancel.
Things that I did to resolve this problem:
- Made sure that my iTunes was updated.
- Recreated my iTunes Library (hold option while opening iTunes- on mac- and choose to create a new library. Make sure that you move your music to another folder while doing this, and overwrite the old library by naming it the same thing.)
- Restarted my computer and iPhone.
- Synced my phone, and it worked perfectly!

Dec 24, 2013 11:06 AM in response to ImUrHaLoby fredfromwest hills,With great help from Apple support, my issue was resolved by doing a restore to my iPod touch. This meant that I had to resync my music and photo libraries and re-install my apps. It took quite a while but now it's working better than ever.
