Hi i have a problem in my iMac i can not start the machine and error on the scree unable to find driver for this platform ACPI mac os x version  And then i try to do erase & fresh installation but i can't find how to get utility disk on the scree i could not get So please kindly help me in this regards Fida unable to find.jpg

    You may want to do a back up first, as all your fata will be erased.

     

    Try starting up holding COMMAND R  hold till you see the spinng gear and allow it to boot, click disk utility then continue. On the disk utility screen that pops up select(highlight) your volume (default name Macintosh HD) from the left column, click the Erase tab, set the format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

    Set the name (you can use Macintosh HD or what ever you like)

    Click erase, quit disk utilties and then click Reinstall Mac OS X.
