Nov 18, 2013 1:41 AM in response to MTDEWNYCby Bobcatou,Same thing has been happening with my Ipad ever since I updated to the latest IOS. This has nothing to do with getting the connection. I know I am on the Internet. This happens typically 15-30 mins into the download. At wits end. Never been more frustrated with Apple products since the last year.

Jan 28, 2014 9:35 PM in response to olivia276by lincris,@olivia276. I'm afraid your solution didn't work for me. I did as you suggested, but no luck. I did the same again and additionally logged out of the iTunes Store, closed iTunes on my iPad and performed a hard restart but all to no avail. So very frustrating.
I would love dustyman to let us know what Apple did to solve the problem, or better yet, Apple to directly provide a solution. I promise I'll share it with you all!

Mar 8, 2014 3:50 PM in response to MTDEWNYCby karen7809,Had all the same problems as above and nothing worked so I went to Apple support and live chatted to get fix. First go to settings/ iTunes & apps and sign out of your account. Second, double push home button and close all open apps. Third do a hard reset- hold power button on top and home button down at same time till apple icon appears and let it reboot. Go back in to settings and sign into your iTunes account again and then rent movie again. This time the download worked fine. The live chat agent refunded the first movie for me.

Apr 10, 2014 10:17 AM in response to karen7809by Elizabeth Stewart1,karen7809, when you say you got a refund for the movie, does that mean when it's all fixed you have to go back to the iTunes Store and re-purchase/rent the movie? that it doesn't just download the one you already purchased/rented? i hadn't downloaded movies in a long time and rented/bought 5 movies last night and am having this problem with all of them -- i am going to have to try all these possible fixes and wanted to know if i am going to have to call Apple for a refund or what.
