removed password in account, help!?

Now,  after a restart the computer (Mac Mini), asks me a password - I don't  insert any password as I have removed it, and the computer won't let me back in!

Tried the old password but it won't accept it either.... have I lost my account?

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.7.5), Lion

    This forum is for questions about Apple Remote Desktop, Apple's software for managing networked Mac systems, and hence not the best place for your question. I'd suggest asking in the Mac OS X 10.7 Lion forum.
