Q: Aperture crashed during the starting process
Hi Community,
I´m unable to make it work my Aperture installation.
Basically are this my configuration:
MacBook Pro mid 2009
OS X 10.9.1
Aperture 3.5.1
Final Cut Express 4.0
I just loaded Aperture from the App Store and run the installer. But everytime when Aperture are starting up, it runs into the following error:
Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: /Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager
Referenced from: /Applications/Aperture.app/Contents/MacOS/Aperture
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
/Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager: no matching architecture in universal wrapper
Anybody can help me please?

Daniel,
you need to reinstall Mavericks. See this support article:
Aperture 3.x: Aperture unexpectedly quits if Final Cut Express 4 is installed
When you installed Final Cut Express, the PluginManager framework has been replaced by an incompatible version, and the safest way to restore the correct framework to your system library is to reinstall MacOS X.
This can be done by booting into the recovery partition and then to reinstall on top of your current system, see this link: OS X: About OS X Recovery

Léonie
P.S: Don't reinstall Final Cut after reinstalling the system - if you just install the system on top of your current configuration, Final Cut should continue to work.
