Sep 25, 2013 12:56 PM in response to TheGr8Dane1by ChrisJ4203,A patch would come out for a bug. A bug is something that happens to most everyone. I've not seen anyone else post this. What user troubleshooting have you done on the phone. Try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. Also, voicemail is a carrier function. You can call your carrier and ask them to reset your voicemail. That should take care of the issue.

Sep 25, 2013 2:13 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by TheGr8Dane1,This is not a voicemail issue so much as it is an operating system issue. Voicemail screen freezes all the time. I reset, reinstall, etc and etc and IOS7 does not work correctly. IOS 6 did not have these issues.

Sep 25, 2013 3:17 PM in response to TheGr8Dane1by ChrisJ4203,Alright. You have done a restore of iOS 7 and set the device up as a new device, and not from a backup and it is still freezing? If so, then you would need to have the device checked for a hardware issue. The freezing is not normal. I have not had any freezing issues or voicemail issues on my 4S, non with another 4S in the house, an iPhone 4, or an iPhone 5. Something else is going on. If you did not do a restore as new, not from a backup, then you have not completed all of the user troubleshooting steps before checking for a hardware problem.

Sep 26, 2013 10:26 AM in response to TheGr8Dane1by TedBoosley,AT&T Tech support checking in here. Just resolved this issue for a customer by clearing out the physical voicemail box in the background, it had 100 messages saved in it. Call your own phone number, or press and hold the '1' key, and you should be able to delete all of your messages. After we did this, messages deleted from Visual Voicemail no problem. Voila!

Sep 27, 2013 10:43 AM in response to TedBoosleyby Bry128,I called my voicemail by pressing zero and entering my password to listen. I didn't actually check the messages but hung up after the system told me I had to new messages and then went back to visual voicemail. When I deleted the messages from there (visual voicemail), it worked. I only had twelve saved messages by the way that was still showing in visual voice mail. So just calling in and listening to the recording seemed to help.

Nov 1, 2013 9:19 AM in response to TheGr8Dane1by eri pawa,I've been having the same problem. If i repeatedly delete the reappearing messages and then erase them they will stop reappearing one by one after a few times. Annoying bug.
I will try any of the above suggestions now.
Apple - please fix!

Dec 9, 2013 8:01 PM in response to TheGr8Dane1by carmanrayj,Same issue here...obviously I am not the only one. Question for TedBoosley (AT&T Support), what do you mean by the "physical voicemail box"? Thanks

Dec 17, 2013 5:01 PM in response to TheGr8Dane1by koltan baby,I had one pesky voicemail from some marketing scam that just wouldn't clear until I put the phone into airplane mode and powered down. When I powered back up I went and deleted the offending message, but couldn't Clear All just yet until I turned airplane mode off. Deletion success!
