We are volunteer end users, in order to give you any help you have to provide some clues. First what version of OS X is installed, which iMac do you have and what is a logitech C920?

Oct 9, 2013 11:43 AM in response to rkaufmann87by varjak paw,The C920 is a webcam. I don't know of any way to make an external web cam default for applications such as Facetime, which is what I presume Eddie is referring to.
Regards.

Dec 17, 2013 5:25 PM in response to Eddie7632by edlucas,i just figured the problem and has nothing to do with changing those integers. in the audio MIDI setting (app in utilities folder) for the c920 make sure the format is set to 24000hz, and it will finally work. if its set to 16000hz or 32000hz it wont work. i actually went backand put the integer settings to its original settings. 24integer for mac and 16 for c920.
