Q: My matchbook is not smooth when running the new Mac OS X. Could I downgrade it back the old OS?

I have upgrade my mackbook with Mac OSX. It is too complicated for my old computer for I have bought this Macbokk 3 years ago. It  becomes slowly and even freezes in sometime. So I wish I could have the Mac OS 10.6 back. But I can downgrade my Mac OS with the original CD. Could someone help me? Thanks!

    Dr. WANG,

if you made a backup before upgrading to Mavericks (OS X 10.9), then you can just restore your Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6) environment from the backup.

If you didn’t make a backup before upgrading to Mavericks, then you can make a backup now with Mavericks, erase your boot disk, reïnstall Snow Leopard, run Software Update to get it to 10.6.8, and perform a selective restoration of the files that you would like to have available to you in Snow Leopard from your Mavericks backup.
