Q: Upgrading my G5
I have a G5 that is grossly undo powered what do you think it will cost me to have it properly upgraded at the apple store?

Depends on what you mean by 'upgraded'. You cannot upgrade the OS on a G5 beyond Leopard 10.5.8.
As a G5 PPC Mac is officially obsolete it is doubtful that any Apple Store can or will service it.
Obsolete products are those that were discontinued more than seven years ago. Apple has discontinued all hardware service for obsolete products with no exceptions. Service providers cannot order parts for obsolete products. These include ALL G4 and G5 models.
