Thanks for the question. At what point are you prompted for the previous Apple ID? Usually, if you have music or applications that were purchased with a previous Apple ID, you’ll need to authorize your device for these purchases. You may also be prompted to enter the login information for other accounts, like email.

Determine whether you need to enter your password for any apps, such as iTunes or Game Center. Some apps need your password before your information can be completely restored.
