Dec 19, 2013 1:47 PM in response to sbermanby Jamiryu,Sorry but it doesn't help me. The problem is that iTunes keeps saying that the password is incorrect but doesn't tell mewher to put the password (that I actually know but I just can't use it)

Dec 19, 2013 1:50 PM in response to Jamiryuby sberman,The password refers to one of two things:
1. You had an encrypted backup and it needs an encryption password to unlock. That is what I thought originally when I sent you the links above.
2. The iPhone is locked and needs to be unlocked before proceeding. Try unlocking the iPhone by entering its password.

Dec 19, 2013 1:59 PM in response to sbermanby Jamiryu,The problem is that I have an encrypted backup file that I would like to get back ut iTunes keeps saying that the password is incorrect but it doesn't ask for any password at all actually. It's very frustrating beacue I know my password it's just that it keeps saying me that my password is incorrect without even asking me for a password

Dec 19, 2013 2:32 PM in response to Jamiryuby wjosten,- Select your iDevice in the iTunes.
- Choose the Summary screen (tab) and scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Then un-select Encrypt iPhone backup.
- iTunes will then prompt you to “Enter the password to unlock your iPhone backup”, enter the password you set originally.
