    My device has AC+

I called the 1-800-MY-APPLE got ahold of an advisor by the name of Joseph after asking Joseph about the Apple protection plan he confirmed that they do still sell it. So I asked Joseph if i could speak to his supervisor, thats when he connected me to Jason. I asked Jason the same thing and he too confirmed that you can purchase Apple Protection Plan for an iphone for $69, an ipod $59, and an ipad for $79 dollars.

Anything else I can correct you on today Mr. Michael Black?

Yes, every bit of blathering mis-information you have posted here today, including the quoted post above.

There is no AppleCare for iPhones in the USA.  There is AppleCare+ and only AppleCare+.

If you can find ANY SINGLE reference to AppleCare for iPhones at http://www.apple.com/support/products/iphone.html I would love to see you post the URL.

well, i will give you this, we are talking about the same things and different things. When purchasing from the site, you are only able to purchase APP+

But if you call the tech support you can purchase it through them

Then the tech support person you talked to is misinformed.  There is no AppleCare for iPhones or iPads.

But, believe what you wish - the evidence you are wrong is plastered all over the Apple web site, and every Mac tech news site that ever covered the change from AppleCare to AppleCare+.

    I'm done with this thread.

Is it possible that you are done with this thread because you were wrong?

    I think so.

Um, just because it's not on the apple store site doesn't mean it's not available.

Just please stop posting. Get it through your head. You can purcahse AppleCare. The reason it is not on the website is because they want you to purcahse AppleCare+ when you actually purcahse the phone

Now I am confused I understood BatMan's reply clear-direct-to the point. Jason the supervisor has helped me with past issues so I believe you. After I was snug as a bug in rug understanding the topic i was looking through Wikipedia on the topic for the heck of it cause it laid out I 0S history and what it can and can't do in a direct format that is easy to skim and see what your looking for.  This also states with release of iPhone 5s and 5c the warranty option was stopped for other phones Wikipedia history of I 0S I know people mess with that dictionary. Perhaps it can be updated. V
