Q: AirPort Time Capsule? Should I back up my files?

I'm updating to Mavricks and my laptop came with (Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, ID, FC, FL, BR, FW, AI/ Mirosoft P,

O, W, X, C) for school. Is Time Machine/AirPort Time Capule only used via exteral hardrive or Ethernet cable?

Time Machine works with external drives, but it also works with AirPort Time Capsules (which is a special router sold by Apple) through Wi-Fi or Ethernet. You need to get an external drive
