You should have transferred them to your computer shortly after purchasing them.
Have you failed to do this?

The owners of the rights to the ringtones do not allow itunes to provide this feature. hopefully they will at some point.
Regardless, you should always maintain a backup.

You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception.
