Q: 20 days back myself ported network from vodafone in to airtel. But in my iphone5 its still showing vodafone in only. Done reset network setting, reztore but no use, can u ppl suggest any way to display carrier name correctly, ios i m using is ios7

When you said Vodafone, I assumed the UK, but the way to contact is still the same. If there are no Apple stores in India, you will need to use the authorized Apple service provider. Another question comes to mind now that you report where you are at. Where did you purchase this phone? That will make a difference when it comes to warranty service.

There is no way to hide the carrier name without jailbreaking the device, and that cannot be discussed here. I'm guessing, but to purchase in Dubai, you are using an Authorized Apple Servier Provider? That is who you will have to deal with for warranty service on the phone.

Well, a very unique problem it is, if still facing i suggest you to place the sim in some other iPhone, if still presists i suggest to get a sim replaced through any airtel store it might fix the problem and also see if the network sleection is set to automatic..
