Dec 23, 2013 5:38 AM in response to hateupdatesby stedman1,Sadly, Apple has no approved method to downgrade the version of iOS on your iDevice. You can voice your displeasure with the iOS by leaving feedback at the appropriate subsection from the link below.

It's all you can do.

Dec 23, 2013 5:54 AM in response to hateupdatesby hateupdates,Dear Stedman1, Is there an UNapproved method? I'll risk killing this thing.

Dec 23, 2013 5:59 AM in response to hateupdatesby Skydiver119,Since Jailbreaking - which is what you would be doing, putting unapproved software on your device - is against Apple's rules, it can't be discussed here.
If you insist upon doing it you must look for instructions elsewhere.
If you'd like to go into exactly what's bugging you about iOS7 maybe someone here can help you find a work around or fix.

Settings>Safari>Block Pop-ups (ON/OFF)

Dec 23, 2013 7:22 AM in response to hateupdatesby Ralph9430,★HelpfulTry using a different. Browser like Atomic or one of the many others in the App Store.
If you have the Facebook and Twitter apps on your iPad and don't want them they can be easily deleted. If you're talking about bookmarks in Safari for Facebook or Twitter, these can be deleted as well.

Dec 24, 2013 3:10 AM in response to hateupdatesby thomas_r.,I was forced to update my Ipad2
iOS never forces you to update. It is always a choice. You can ignore the updates and keep using the older system. I did precisely that for a little while on my phone, while I was trying out iOS 7 on my iPad. So unless some person (IT for your employer on a company phone, for example) was making you update, you weren't forced.
I now get popup ads I never got before!!!!!!
There's nothing inherent in iOS 7 that will cause you to get ads in Safari or other apps that you never did before. A different browser might handle pop-ups differently, and may be more effective in some cases than Safari's pop-up blocker. However, if you're getting a lot of pop-up ads from a particular site, that's a site you probably shouldn't be visiting.
