AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). You can see which Mac you have and which operating system you are using by selecting 'About this Mac' from the Apple menu in the top left corner of your Mac and selecting the 'More Info' button.

Dec 23, 2013 11:34 AM in response to jtomasz7by Winston Churchill,Not without updating it to 10.8 or better, even then I suspect it may be a pre-2011 model if it's currently running Snow Leopard.

System Software Overview:

Dec 23, 2013 11:47 AM in response to jtomasz7by Winston Churchill,You can update at the Mac App Store.
If you are told your Mac is not compatible with Mavericks, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) or better CPU with at least 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
But you also need to check when your Mac was produced.
