Q: Pages '09 came with iMac. Now I have two versions....
My iMac had Pages '09 as part of iWorks package. Pages is version 4.3. When my automatic updates ran, it installed a new application of Pages on 11/14/13 and it is Version 5.0.1
The problem is it didn't place Pages in the same folder as iWorks. It's now a stand-alone app in the Applications folder. Some of my documents open in Pages '09 and some open in Pages. Is there a way to get all of them to open in the new version or am I going to have to open every document one at a time to convert?
The icons for Pages 09 and Pages are also different. Suggestions?
Thanks!
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Would it mess up my Mac's mind if I put the NEW version in the iWorks folder?
If you do it, you may have problems updating the new version in the Mac App Store. I recommend you to keep the new Pages version in Applications instead of putting it into the iWork folder
