iCloud photo stream does not show all photos

    I have the same experience, even logging out and restarting has not fixed this issue.  Looks like we will need an update to get this fixed.

    I am experiencing the same/similar issue.  What is strange is my most recent photo on Apple TV is ~1 month ago.  On Apple TV it says "Photos From Last Week" are 10/12 when the current date is 11/10.  I called Apple support and they said the date issue could be related to my modem or router.  My modem displays correct time and date and I bought a new Airport Extreme thinking my old Airport Express was the issue.  No resolution.  This must be a software upgrade glitch because photostream worked perfect on Apple TV before update.

     

    APPLE PLEASE FIX BUG!  Thanks!

    Glad I found this thread.  It's been driving me nuts wondering what was going on.  Same issues as above but I have less photos on photo stream.  All photos show on imac, iPad, and iPhone but not ATV.  I only have 238 pics on photo stream total but ATV is only showing 4 of them!  It's like it only shows the last 30 days regardless of how many pics you have in photo stream.  All was fine till I did an update.

    Ok dudes and gals ... i think i found a loophole ... somewhat annoying and not as accurate but at least im seeing more pictures ... so ...  i went on my iphone 5 (7.0.3) and within my camera roll went to the "Shared" tab at the bottom and created a "New Shared Stream" then shared it with myself (own phone number) ... then went buck nasty picking almost all pictures in my camera roll ... clicked "done" ... then "share with icloud"

     

    now within your apple tv's settings go to your screen saver settings and choose the shared album which you created ... depending on how many pictures you selected it might take a while ... since i selected over 1000 pics it took till the next day for me to see them on my screen saver.

     

    it still likes to repeat the same images more than id like ... but at least there all getting showed

    I have the same problem. It started when I got rid of my ipad 3 and got the air. My Ipad air  and Apple TV only shows photo stream photos from when I got the air and not the 1000 I have in my iPhone 5.

    Just an update, I used an Apple TV that has not had the update applied, and all 1000 photo stream photos are visibile and they updated with the current ones.  I am going to leave this unit at the old level until a fix is released.

    I had similar problem.  After your upgrade on Apple TV go to your iTunes account and into file menu then home sharing and redo the selection of photos to share.  Chose either all or a subset of folders

    I have a similar problem.

     

    Only some of my photos are streaming to my photo stream. 

     

    I have deleted them from the photostream, signed out of the control panel then signed back in and still only the same handful of photos appear in the photosteam.

     

    Any solutions?

    What worked for me is update the Apple TV to firmware 6.0.2 ( I had 6.0.1, when the problem showed up).  Then disable the photo stream settings, no need to log out, and restart the apple TV, then go and renable them and now my photostream is working perfectly.

    Alex, I was hoping this was a holiday miracle.  Unfortunately, photostream (iCloud) is still not working even after updating to 6.0.2 and following your instructions above.

     

    The same problems exist - photostream only loads about 340 photos of the 904 I have in the stream.  iPhone, iPad and iPod all pick up 904.  I even removed my pics from the photostream (again) and reloaded them from a backup.  All other devices load up 904, Apple TV picks up 340.

     

    Can you confirm that all of your photos are loaded on your Apple TV (and that you have more than 500 photos in your photostream).  If you can truely see all of your photostream photos please again expain to us exactly how you did it step-by-step.

     

    Anyone else get their photostream to work with Alex's suggestion?

    I have 1000 photos in iCloud, but my AppleTV only show 299, the last photo is about 11/Nov, but if upload a low resolution photo AppleTV show the new low resolution photo. I have two ApplTV's and it is the same with both.

    Nirvana, have you received a fix from Apple yet?  I have been waiting for three months from two Level 2 Tier supervisors who have not been able to help.

     

    According to CPELL at Apple dot com, the problem is an "emerging" one that is being addressed with the engineers. No one is allowed to actually talk to the engineers, so he has no other updates.

     

    Have you found a fix?
