Apparently, with the new iOS upgrade, my iPhone calendar and contacts no longer sync with my Mac laptop?  Is there some setting that I am missing?  I am unable to locate the contact/calendar setting in iTunes and see nothing in my laptop preferences?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4

With Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) iTunes no longer supports syncing Contacts & Calendars via iTunes. The supported method is via iCloud. The following link gives details on how to set that up:

There are a lot of complaints about dropping the sync via USB to a Mac, mostly seem to be those who have privacy concerns with the cloud. I use iCloud and OS X 10.9 has never asked me to enter a password for keychain access for iCloud. I do have FileVault turned on so need to enter password once at startup. I don't have time to research right now but you may want to post a new question about why that is happening to you and someone else may be able to respond with a solution.
