Q: I just got my son a new ipad I signed into it for first time using the same Apple ID that my daughter has, I want to change it and give him his own ID and password but if I erase the ID off of his will it erase my whole Apple ID off of my daughters ipad

I just put the Apple ID on my sons new ipad that I have on my daughters, if I erase it off my sons to give him his own ID will this erase my whole ID off my daughters ipad as well?

You should be able to reset it as a new device and then set up with another account: Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings.

To make you more comfortable, you should backup the daughter's before doing the reset. Regular backups are a good idea anyway.
