Q: Apple TV not connecting after upgrade

I just upgraded my Apple TV to software version 6.0.2 and after completing the upgrade it could not connect to my WiFi. It sees the network in the settings but tells me it cannot connect. I tried rebooting both the wireless router and Apple TV but nothing. My iPad is connecting successfully to the network.
