Possibly. According to:
you also have to re-instal iMovie.
If you search communities with "iMovie mackeeper" you will find a lot of discussion on this topic.
Good link, thanks.
Since iMoive 10.0.1 came wit the Mavericks, I just finished reinstalling Mavericks hoping that would also reinstall iMovie 10.0.1.
Unfortunately, after that reinstall of Mavericks, iMoive is still doing the same - nothing. No functionality click the "Share" button or on the Share menu.
I wonder if I have to buy iMovie to resolve this? Is that even possible? I hope not.
Did you do a clean instal or was it over your exisitng startup drive? In the second case there could still be some offending software present. A couple of articles that may be of help:
You certainly shouldn't have to buy iMovie if you updraded to Mavericks from a system with iLife 11.
Thanks Geogg, really appreciate that info.
I had already removed MacKeeper per that link you sent over.
The link you provided to that discussion was perfect. I am getting educated about my MAC over the holidays :-)
I never would have thought to look in the app store for the imovie download - duh. And, it was free so no worries there.
Anyways, got imovie reinstalled after a few bumps and now it is working just fine. It really is much faster than the earlier version when sharing a file.
Thanks again on your assistance !
