Q: im on a brand new macbook pro, trying to learn!

hi there, im on a brand new macbook pro trying to download adobe flash player so i can watch youtube videos on tips and tricks for macs. it goes through the download and everything but then doesnt seem to be downloaded. i tried about 3 times and no go, each time allowing me to download instead of saying its already downloaded.. what am i doing wrong?! thanks

    It will download it into your local Downloads folder. Next to your Trash icon, is a folder alias of the Downloads folder. Click once to see files you have downloaded. If the Adobe Flash Player is shown, click on its filename to launch the installer. Before you install, close all browsers and System Preferences panel.

     

    You should be downloading the Adobe Flash Player from this Adobe site. Install now is a misnomer. It really is a download.

        Download and install Adobe Flash Player.

        Restart the computer. Relaunch Safari.

     

      Enable Plug-ins

      

      Safari > Preferences > Security

     

      Internet Plug-ins >  "Allow  plug-ins"

      Enable it.

      Press " Manage Website Settings" button for more options.
