Q: Why does my lightning sd card reader connection kit not work on my iPad mini since I upgraded to ios7.

Why is my lightning sd card reader not working on my iPad mini since I updated to ios7. It worked perfectly well before upgrade.

    Try rebooting your iPad:  Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for about 10 seconds until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart.

     

    Is the lightning kit you use an Apple kit or aftermarket?  If it is Apple and after rebooting it does not work, return it to an pple Store and they will replace it.
