You didn't buy the phone from Apple.
It's not a refurbished phone from Apple.
I would say they probably won't do much for you.
You need to go through your insurance company that provided the replacement.

Actually, the insurance company told me I'd have to contact the manufacturer. His won't be the first time I bring in a device I bought through an insurance company. Genius service is not limited to those who've purchased their devices direct from the apple store.
