Why did they do such a thing. It is terrible.
Even lowering the brightness doesn't help. Everything is so white. I'm so sad.

You should of done some research and watch youtube videos or even a simple visit to a local shop that has new iPads you can play with, i.e Bestbuy, Verizon stores, etc. Then you would have seen how it was and stuck with older iOS.
Don't forget to turn App refrehs off otherwise it will drain your battery very quickly.
Unfortunately for you there is no way to downgrade ipads. Update is permanent. I wish apple would open the iOS 6 for iPad 2. Its just one of those tablets that could work on either but it works best on ios 6.
Write them at their feedback page and ask Apple to open iOS 6 window for iPad 2. I wrote to them but maybe if more ask they will. A long time ago they had iphone 3gs window open for 4.1 even when ios 6 was available it was until 6.1.3 when they closed 4.1. IMO they should of left it open still that phone ran better on 4.1 than 6.1. Same with iPad 2 and iPhone 4 they need window open for iOS 6.

A week from now you'll think IOS 7 is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
