The quick and easy method is to :

1: install dropbox in your bluestacks.

2: drop your apk file into your dropbox from mac/pc/phone.

3: access your apk file from your dropbox in bluesstacks and install.

Done. ^^ Enjoy.

Probably your "~/Library/BlueStacks\ App\ Player/Runtime/uHD-Adb install" address was not quite appropriate because i went into the folder and noticed that "Runtime" is a shortcut link to the actual bluestacks app itself.

Try this instead: /Applications/BlueStacks.app/Contents/Runtime/uHD-Adb install /path-to-your-apk

I tried installing simpsons tapped out and it worked.

Your terminal should print something like this if it worked:

6446 KB/s (40245348 bytes in 6.096s)

pkg: /data/local/tmp/Tapped out 4.2.4 hacked.apk

Success

As shayd3 said, try this in terminal:

/Applications/BlueStacks.app/Contents/Runtime/uHD-Adb install /path-to-your-apk
