Q: new Iphone 5c and cannot get bluetooth to connect in my car or my wireless speaker ..why ?

Both devices need to be in discovery/pairing mode. Check the user guide for your vehicle to make sure the car is in discovery/pairing mode. See this support document for some assistance. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1664

Make sure you go to Setting/Bluetooth on the iPhone when first trying to connect.  The iPhone has to be actively tryiing to pair...then begin process on the other device/car.
