Mail not showing new messages in inbox

    Is this for imap for POP3, I can not find the file you mentioned above.  I would really appreciate any help you can provide.  This is what I have when i follow your instructions

    Have you logged into gMail via Webmail in a browser & enabled Settings>Forwarding POP& IMAP, then Enabled IMAP instead of POP?

    Thank You I own a national IT company and nobody could figure this out good one you helped my company figure this out for a client of ours I dont think I have ever posted on this forum but I would like to show some appreciation your fix simple as it was worked to think we looked over that 5 times.

    I have this exact thing. I see the "Sender Unknown" but every time I try to remove it it is still there. Help!

    I am not sure how your situation differs from the one that we had with a customer but I am more than willing to provide some tech support the easiest was for us to fix your issue or help with your issue is through remote session my company is Geeks For You you can google it to make sure we are legit. Other than that It would be hard without some screenshots.

    The easiest way to fix that is if you have an email provider that allows a web interface. If so go to your email servermvia your browser, use the web interface to delete the broken message. Good luck.

    Apple this is just plain BS. Your Mail app doesn't show all emails. Your app has a bug. This thread has been going for over 3 years. You've released many updates and a major new OS X update in Mavericks. The problem persists and it's not acceptable. We rely on email for business. One missed email, or one responsed to too late can have a huge impact on peoples lives. I don't think it's too much to ask that we get to see all our emails. We must assume you do not wish to fix this. This happened to me twice yesterday and enough is enough.


    For anyone still unsure if this is a bug or not a bug, see my screen caps of my webmail and Mac Mail views. The red items are missing in Mac Mail. Perhaps if I tickle Mail just so, or slap it round the chops whislt giving it a kiss, the missing emails might show themsleves. But I have no time for such pandering.





    So where to from here? I'll be looking in earnest for another email app solution asap.
