Q: Apple Num Keyboard - Liquid Damage

I was cleaning my USB Num keyboard with Formula 409. Sprayed directly on the keyboard & then started cleaning it. After cleaning I started using it, without realizing that some damage has been done to the keyboard. The keyboard started acting wierd. e.g. Esc key was working as F11 & F11 doesn't works. When you press 'd' it works as if multiple keys are pressed viz. d]<HOME>. k types k777777777.... & NUM7 doesn't works.

Later on I unplugged the keyboard & kept to dry on its own. Esc problem has gone, others still remain.

It has become immposible to type with this keyboard. I am using a spare keyboard right now.

Can some help me with that?

Thanks in advance

iMac, iOS 7.0.4

Sorry but the only thing that can be done is to replace the keyboard. Look on E-Bay, Amazon or even OWC (www.macsales.com) for a used one.

The cost of reparations or even replacement in India will be relatively high.   Do you have import taxation in India?   RKaufmann87's suggestion of Amazon is the best bet.
