Nov 15, 2013 6:38 PM in response to jckinnickby grendelprime,Hi, So the shutting off of settings helped me get rid of most of the songs, and then I slid and deleted some other ones. However, I still have a song on my iphone 4 that I cannot delete. I cannot slid and delete it, though I can all the other ones. I have even deleted it in my library, but it is still on my iphone when I synch. Any suggestions?

Dec 9, 2013 8:23 PM in response to jckinnickby jsimpsonlee03 ,So after reading all of this...I found the perfect solution. So I went to Settings > General > Usage > Music and then in the corner where it says edit...I deleted all music. This deletes the entire library on your phone. This was nice because then I could go back and add what I wanted to not what was on there. I had downloaded a lot of Mickey Mouse and Disney soundtracks awhile back and now that I have an AUX plug in my car, I don't need them on my phone but everytime I plugged my phone up, they would start to play. Now I have what I want not kids stuff. This is also good to look at some of the other stuff on the phone. Like I unknowingly had opened some ppt stuff for school and they were still using space on my phone and I was able to delete them!

Dec 28, 2013 9:11 AM in response to sparks1311by becky13s,This worked for me as long as I also powered off the device before signing back into the iTunes store. If the song was on multiple devices, it seemed to take it off all the devices only if you first go through this process on the device where you purchased the song.
Glad this worked. I really didn't want to go down the road of deleting the entire library from my device and starting from scratch. Thanks for the help to figure this out.

Jan 8, 2014 3:31 PM in response to jckinnickby baileyjeank,To get rid of the songs in the cloud from your phone, go to settings > music > and turn off show all music
Make sure to do this in your phone settings, I kept doing it in my library and it still stayed on my phone. It should take all the cloud songs off. Hope this helped!

Feb 3, 2014 5:29 PM in response to sparks1311by dural77,HOLY CRAP THANK YOU.
Everytime my **** iPhone4 since updated to iOS7 is plugged into my car stereos usb port, it play the first song in my digital downloads thing associated with iTunes Store. Which means I've heard the Mike Snow song "Animal" a million times. Even more irritating was when I had a Podcast going and ready to play and the **** thing would still autoplay the song. Only since iOS7 have I had this issue.

Apr 2, 2014 4:21 PM in response to jckinnickby tdabs,I tried all of these and it did not work, but I found a different solution. I purchased some things and deleted them off iTunes and they still stayed on, so what I did was go on
iTunes store --> Quick Links --> Purchased
under music I saw all of the songs still sitting there with an X in the corner that says "hide songs" I did that, synced my iPhone and wala! They finally disappeared.
Not saying all of yours do not work, but hope this helps other people who are still stuck!

May 12, 2014 9:50 PM in response to jckinnickby PrincessEgg,First you have to open up your itunes on your computer, then go to the artist sidebar and right-click the artist and select delete. Once you have deleted the artist from your itunes just go to your phone or ipod go to the artist and delete the song.
