Q: I recently switched to a new laptop. Downloaded and opened iTunes on new laptop and signed in, but nothing is there. None of my music of purchased music. How do I get my old music on my new computer?

I just want to have my old itunes on my new laptop.

Copy over the iTunes folder from the old computer or its backup. Or see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

From your OLD computer...

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
