Q: Apple LCD M7649 Studio Display & Early 2008 MacPro?

Can I connect a 17" Apple LCD M7649 Studio Display with my Early 2008 MacPro?

I have one, and might pic up another, to use as my 3rd and 4th monitors (respectively) on my early 2008 Mac Pro.

I just wanted to know if these would work?

These are the ones that are self powered, and is currently working on my G4 Dual 450 PPC.

You need an adapter that includes the display power supply.

Ok, thank you very much.

lastly, will this 17" studio display work as a 2nd monitor from my MacBook Pro via a DVI to mini display port adapter? Or will it also need the extra power supply (linked above) ??

ADC (Apple Display Connector)
displays will need both adapters.
