Q: How do I get data from a MAC that has a fried display? we can't see anything, let alone which network it is connected to, or a security code.

I have an older MacPro that has a fried display. The computer turns on, but we cannot access anything. How can I use migration to transfer some needed date to my new machine?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), iOS 7

you could:
remove the hard drive and put it in an external enclosure. I got an enclosure for 5 bucks from the bargain bin at Office Max.
