Well, this is really funny.
I haven't had hands-free bluetooth in my 2008 Nissan Titan since the iPhone 4 (or 4S, I don't remember). The problem was that when a call came in, the iPhone and the truck werre silent . . . no incoming call alert.
But since getting the iPhone 5, it works again!
The consensus on this forum was that there was something wrong with all Nissans and Titans specifically in my case. It couldn't possibly be almighty Apple. For three years I hadn't been able to use the hands free. But confirmed it for sure . . . with my iPhone5, hands free works again.

My problems were (mostly) solved by having the dealer install the new software package that's called "SIRI - EYES ONLY" (or something like that) form Honda.
It provides (near) seamless integration into the iPhone IOS for almost everything (can't have Siri read you an incoming email while you're moving but you can have Siri read you a text message...go figure!)
It took a couple of tries for the dealer to install the new software but it is installed and I'm (mostly) happy.
