Q: Photo Stream not sync across devices?

I wanted to clean my Photo Stream so I went o iPhoto > Shared > iCloud and deleted all my photos as they had already been transfereed to my Library. However, my Photo Streams in other devices (iPhone, iPad) still have the same pictures, not deleted. Why?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9), 2.7GHz Intel Core i5

Does the software on your iPhone and iPad support deleting from Photo Stream? Check the requirements here: iCloud: How to delete photos from Photo Stream

    • iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.1 or later
    • Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and iPhoto 9.2.2 or Aperture 3.2.3 or later
    • Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with Software Update 5.0 or later
    • PC with Windows 8 or Windows 7 and iCloud Control Panel for Windows 2.0 or later (iCloud Control Panel 2.1 required with Windows 8.)

And the iPad and iPhone must be connected by Wi-Fi and properly charged for the Photo Stream to sync.

Log out of iCLoud and turn off PhotoStream on all devices, reboot all devices and log back into to iCloud and turn on PhotoStream on each

    that will reset things
