Okay, I learned how to access Clipboard (Finder>Edit>Show Clipboard), but how do I retrieve a link that's now there? I've been using a different method to access Droppbox, but I now think that the Clipbozrd route might be the preferred way.

The clipboard the the temporary place things are put when you have copied something.  Some apps, like Dropbox, put things onto the clipboard without you needing to select copy.  To place the information from the clipboard paste it.
