Q: Collection no longer sorting correctly for new items at top

Hi all.

I've added items to 2 of our iTunes U Collections in the past three weeks, and in each one, I'm seeing a problem I never saw before.

Both collections are Apple Hosted.

In each, if I upload a new item, it's displayed at the *bottom* of the list when users see it (whether they see it in the iTunes Preview in a web browser, or in the Mac OS X iTunes client, or on the iOS iTunes U app.

Is anybody else seeing this problem? Any idea how to fix it? (To be clear....I can sort items in the Feed Editor in Site Manager just fine. It doesn't fix this problem of what users see, though.

    Kenny,

We are seeing this situation too: Apple Hosted collection; new items are displayed at the bottom. There used to be a way to change the sort order of the item (newest on top was our choice) but I no longer see this.

    Things have indeed changed.

iTunes U Public Site Manager now adds new items to the *bottom* of the list by default. That makes no sense to me.

The solution is that after you've uploaded your item, you need to drag and drop them upwards to the top. This is not easy when there are, say, 50 items in a collection.

Another change I've noticed is that album art that's part of an item is no longer shown after the item is uploaded to an iTunes U collection.

Does anyone else see this change?
