Q: It keeps asking for my old Apple ID password when I try to update, and I just made a new one. How do I use my new one and prevent it from telling me to enter my password for my old one?

I'm trying to update my game, and I recently created a new Apple ID. It's asking for the password to my old ID when I already verified my new one. How do I fix this?

Delete it and then download it from your new Apple ID. This may require repurchasing it.

    Hi Tanibaby,

There is no way to fix this. Purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that they were purchased under. Not sure why you created a new ID, but the easiest way to make having two Apple IDs that will have updatable purchases on them is to go into Manage your Apple ID for the old Apple ID, and change the password on that ID to match the password on the new ID. That way, it won't matter which ID is coming up asking for a password.

    Cheers,
